Easter @ Mimaw and Papaw's house!

Below is Trey opening his easter basket....this year they got baskets from mimmaw and pappaw and also aunt Loren. Lots and lots of goodies.

Good Friday

Trey and Max were both home with me Friday so we decided to color eggs for Easter. As you can see below Trey really liked it.

Max 2 months old; Trey 20 months old

Below are a few shots of Max at 2 months old. At 7 weeks we went for his 2 mo checkup and he weighed 12.4 and was 21 3/4 long. He is out little chunk. In the last 2 weeks he has started smiling and cooing.

I was trying to get a picture of Max smiling...you can kind of see it in the below picture but he was grinning from ear to ear and then I would snap and he would stop....can't believe he is already 1 month old.

As soon as we took Max out of the bouncy seat Trey hopped right in! He grabbed his sippie cup first of course and enjoyed a little Mickie Mouse Clubhouse....i guess its more like a recliner for him these days!

This past weekend we ventured up to mimmaw and pappaws house....Below is a shot of Trey playing with some of his favorite toys...brooms and mops! Check out his little hat that Mim made for him....his great grandmother.

Max is doing really good....he has turned into a HUGE eater and wants to eat every 1.5 to 2 hours so that makes for a rough night but overall he is a good baby.

Trey is getting used to Max being around...but is still pretty jealous when I am holding the baby or feeding him...but as you can see he still wants to love on little Max. Oh and yes Trey has a nice little scratch on his face....he got that at school.

He came 10 days early which was a big surprise. He is so sweet and perfect....everyone is doing great. Trey was a little jealous at first but is giving lots of kisses now and is warming up to being a big brother.

Baby Sprinkle!

Thanks so much for the baby "shower/sprinkle" this weekend in Nashville. I got lots of money/gift cards and cute clothes for baby #2! Can't wait to go shopping! Below is a shot of my in-laws along with my mom and me.

Fallen Tree

Yesterday was a very lucky day for us and I am so thankful that no one got hurt. It has been raining for several days in GA and yesterday it was VERY windy....around 4pm the wind was so strong it blew down our huge tree! We live on somewhat of a busy street and we are so lucky that it didnt hit a car nor did it hit our house....it blew over the street into our neighbors yard but didnt do any damage to their house either...thankfully.


Our house is to the left of the tree....only a few feet away...so if the tree had decided to go the other way our house would have been destroyed.


This is the tree spread across the street into our neighbors yard....you can see the power lines are completely down.
