ATLANTA ZOO!

We took Trey to his first trip to the Zoo. He got to see lots of wild animals and even got to pet a few.....he stayed awake the entire time we were there and never did get fussy. He really enjoyed seeing all the animals and watching all the kids running around. The picture below was taken in front of the elephants...although its sort of hard to see one behind us.

9 MONTHS OLD!

This is one of Trey's 9 month pix that we had made and then another shot we snapped at bed time....he looks so big! At the doc appt last week he weighed 22 lbs and was 32 1/4 long. Poor thing has been sick this week with another ear infection and sore throat but he is finally feeling a little better. He is sooo close to crawling! He gets up on all fours and rocks by and forth....but it usually ends in him deciding to roll around as opposed to crawling. He has been babbling mama and dada lately...he said dada first and today he finally uttered mama which thrilled me!!! We are slowly introducing table food...he had some rice the other night when we were at the chinese resturant and he loved it. His favorite thing is to drink water from your straw! He still gives sweet/sloppy kisses and big bear hugs...so sweet!

Mothers Day 2008!

Keith, Trey and myself celebrated Mothers day on Saturday since Keith had to go out of town on Sunday. Trey and Keith got me lots of goodies that Ill use at the beach this summer and Trey even made me a book with his footprint stamped on the front and a poem inside. Soo cute! Sunday I drove up to Cleveland and hung out with my mom and family. All in all it was a great Mothers day....we missed daddy but it was a still a good day. =)

After everyone ate lunch we decided to build a fort for the kids to play in and Trey LOVED it!

First Ear Infection! :(

Trey got his first ear infection this week. We went to the doctor yesterday and he started feeling better within hours of taking his medicine. It was a very rough couple of days and nights but he is doing much better now.

A few nights ago we were playing with Trey and Keith was acting like he was going to come snatch Trey up from my arms and Trey thought that was the funniest thing...so of course I had to video it. =)

8 MONTHS OLD!

Today Trey is 8 months old! It is also his first day at school. We decided to give mimmaw a break and letTrey go hang out with other kids his age. We thought now would be a good time since he is still young but not too young. So far he is doing great....I think its harder on Keith and myself than it is on Trey. When I dropped in to check on him...every time he was playing and laughing so I know he is in good hands and having fun.

Update on what Trey is into at 8 months- close to crawling but not there yet, still loves to play outside, jump in the jumperoo, bath time, dogs and cats, and for you to throw him up in the air. We still have no teeth and we have tried just about every solid food you can try in the 2nd foods section and I still think his favorites are the fruits...especially bananas. We also thought he came VERY close to saying UhhhOhh the other day but has not said it since then. Still very happy baby. Below are a few pix of Trey getting ready this morning before school.

Weekend in Nashville!

The family drove to Nashville this weekend to see Mimi and Poppa and Trey's cousins and he had a big time! Here is Mimi and Poppa with all their grandkids. Trey 7.5 months, Noah 16 months, Evan 3.5 yrs, Jack 5 months.
